Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Kasted collects, how we use it, and what control you have over it. We've written this to be readable — not to confuse you.
When you create an account: your email address and the information you choose to add to your profile (name, location, stats, portfolio images, social handles, and so on). We only collect what you give us.
When you use the platform:basic usage data like pages visited and features used. This helps us understand what's working and what needs improvement. We use this data in aggregate — we're not building a profile on your individual browsing behavior.
Payment information: if you upgrade to Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details — Stripe handles all of that.
To run the platform. To show your profile to the people you want to find you — brands, casting directors, other creatives. To send you transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets). To improve Kasted based on how people actually use it.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes. Full stop.
When you create a Kasted profile, it is publicly accessible at your kasted.com/handle URL. That is the point — you want to be found. If you want to remove your profile, you can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We use cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and basic analytics. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
You can access, edit, or delete your data at any time through your dashboard. You can manage your data directly from your dashboard settings.
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
